About me
An eye for design.
A mind for the details.
I’m Muhammad Vohra, an independent developer based in South Africa. I enjoy bringing the visual and technical sides of a project together.
Good work starts with a reason to build.
Some of my work began with a simple question: how could we make this easier for people to use?
With Fatawa Darul Uloom Zakariyya, that meant working with Makeen Majlis to bring a printed collection into a searchable digital form. We started with the digitisation idea and Word documents, and developed it into the platform it is today.
That work has taken me across interface design, multilingual layouts, and the preparation of complex source material. It has made me attentive to the connection between a clear experience and the less visible work that supports it.
I bring that approach to websites for businesses and to the applications I help build: understand the purpose, work through the details, and make the result useful.

Design with a purpose
Structure, typography, and interaction should help people understand what they can do and where to go next.
Care behind the interface
The reading direction, the loading state, the source reference. Small details make a difference to the whole experience.
Room for collaboration
Good ideas improve through conversation. I value clear feedback, shared thinking, and being honest about the part each person plays.
A website. An application. A new idea.
